Quick Update

I had a fun time this past week. My parents made an unexpected trip up to see us, bringing three of my eight siblings with them. It was a really good time for talking, sharing hopes and dreams, but most importantly it really helped me deal with the grief and acceptance of my dad's new condition post-stroke.

So that's where I've been, I'm hoping to get back to "real" blogging soon. School starts in two weeks the same day as my birthday and of course that means a lot of fodder for my blogger's fire.
