Good Thought Thursday
Today during my morning Bible Minute (usually the most I can get before the kids interrupt me, since rising early is not yet a priority)I read something quite interesting that I'd thought I'd share.
In Psalm 41:1-3, there is a seven-fold blessing for those who are kind to the poor.
The Lord:
1. Rescues them when they are in trouble.
2. Protects them.
3. Keeps them alive.
4. Gives them prosperity in the land.
5. Rescues them from their enemies.
6. Nurses them when they are sick.
7. Restores them to health.
My "theology cap" was left upstairs so I don't know how to draw the deeper truths of this blessing out of the scripture, but I'd thought I'd share it as today's "Good Thought." Be encouraged to be kind to those less fortunate.
