We All...

In this age of self-realization and self-expression, we need to be reminded that Jesus did not come that we would discover ourselves. He came telling us that He already knows who we are and wants to do something about it.

Who are you without Christ? Perhaps you don't know your deep need for a Savior. Perhaps you, like so many, are skeptical of anything that seems too good to be true, that answers all the questions in our hearts. Why is this? Is there fear of letting go of the familiar, or not knowing what the cost would be of accepting Jesus as Savior.

The Bible says, "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all."

Our own way is a dangerous place to exist. We seek to find ourselves, find our path and trust that somehow we will find the path to God. The Bible is very clear that we all have failed to find God on our own and without Jesus we can't be "fixed." At least not in a way that lasts forever.
