L-O-V-E
We love, because God first loved us.
We don't love because we have to, we love because we want to.
Is God sometimes hard to love? Yes.
Are you sometimes hard for God to love? Never.
How fickle our love is, but as we learn from the Best, we learn how best to love.
Ephesians 5:1-2 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
I John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
That is our challenge for February. Loving as God loves. Not with blinders on to the problems people have, but rather knowing that all people are loved by God and therefore, we love them also.
